Due to local government regulation, we have temporarily made some of your properties unbookable on Tripeden.com.
Following guidelines from the local government, we are temporarily closing the availability of some of your properties on our platform. This will help them in better dealing with the current situation, minimizing the impact on them and on their guests.
We have been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it continues to unfold around the world. The local government in some areas around the world has now determined that (certain types of) properties should be closed, may not have any guests (or only very few exempted groups) and/or may not take any new reservations for stays during a specified timeframe. You can see the updated list of areas in the Partner Hub.
Following such government measures and in order to support you and your properties, we have made your properties in these areas temporarily unbookable on our platform.
What happens beyond the period we’ve made your properties unbookable?
Your properties will remain bookable after the timeframe specified by the government. However should the local government extend the period covered by their respective decree, we may also need to extend the period that we make your properties unbookable on our platform.
What are the next steps for you and your properties?
No action is required from your side. We are constantly informing the affected properties around the actions required to deal with these changes. Depending on the local governments’ regulation, some properties might have to contact their guests, while for some others Tripeden.com may be obliged to initiate the process.
Please note that we will send timely communication to all affected properties, with detailed instructions on how to handle the situation. Tripeden.com will not charge any commission in the event of a registered no-show or cancellation or over that part of the booking which is not consumed due to this event.
