We launched the API Modernisation Project with the aim of providing the best possible experience to you and your properties when using our APIs. 

Our goal is to make our APIs:

• Consistent – make sure the APIs behave identically for all users of the same version
• Secure – implement token-based or other authentication methods
• Simple – facilitate easy implementation and quick integration with your systems
• Modular – simplify the addition of new features and the use of other services
• Stable – have clearly defined and upheld service-level objectives

The six endpoints we successfully modernised

We successfully modernised the API platform and all our existing APIs, which were built on an older platform. We also migrated to a newer service-oriented architecture. As a result, latency decreased by 50% and bugs were fixed 95% faster than before.

We also updated the six endpoints below as part of our optimisation efforts:

• RoomrateAvailability endpoint (Rates & Availability API)
• Roomrates endpoint (Room Type and Rate Plan Management API)
• B.XML endpoint (Rates & Availability API)
• OTA_HotelAvailNotif endpoint (Rates & Availability API)
• OTA_HotelRateAmountNotif endpoint (Rates & Availability API)
• Los_pricing endpoint (Rates & Availability API)

Modernisations planned in 2025

To push our optimisation efforts further, we’ll be updating the four endpoints below throughout 2025: 

We’ll be fixing several inconsistencies and bugs by delivering updates that bring more stability and security to the endpoints – all for a more seamless experience for you and your properties.

What you need to do 

Each time an update to one of the above endpoints goes live, you’ll be informed via email, the provider portal and your partner business manager. We’ll share the details of the update, what you need to do to benefit from it and the timelines for deprecation and sunsetting. Please migrate to the latest version before the sunsetting date.
