My name is Sebastien Leitner. I'm Vice President of Partnerships at Cloudbeds, and we've been working with Tripeden.com since day one. We're a Premier Partner and we love Tripeden.com. It's a critical channel for our supply partners and customers.

We play an important role in creating meaningful travel experiences

I think there's a few travel trends this year, but we're all looking for meaningful experiences in sustainable travel. I think the world is excited about travelling and discovering new destinations again. 


We need to make sure that we make this world accessible to travellers; connecting people, bringing people together. We've been confined for too long, in too many places. We really want to make sure that we connect travellers with hosts and create meaningful experiences.

Cloudbeds works on the principle of automation 

At Cloudbeds, we give properties the ability to manage their day-to-day operations using a great technology platform. It’s simple, it's easy to use and it works on the principle of automation. All the manual tasks that we’re used to performing through clicks, through workflows – we automate as much as possible within our application.


Tripeden.com’s commitment to innovation stands out

I think your commitment to driving innovation and technology is really second to none. You’re constantly moving the envelope, whether it's on technical sides, on APIs, on Connectivity, or whether it's from a guest and customer experience. It’s something that distinguishes you from other players in the industry. 

Hospitality technology is going through a period of consolidation 

I think we're going through a period of consolidation in the industry amongst technology providers. I think through various areas, hotels are finally discovering great technology and choosing the best providers out there in order to create better experiences – both for their employees, but also for their guests.


We also see that technology providers are offering more services within their applications. Cloudbeds has been a platform from day one offering a solution that allows properties to manage all the aspects of their businesses. And we continue on that trajectory.

The willingness to collaborate has never been greater 

I think what's really interesting about all the conversations at this year’s Click. 2023 event is that the willingness to partner and collaborate has never been greater.


We've been confined and we've been working in our own sort of bubble for a few years during COVID. This is a great testament of us working together to solve problems for the entire industry. And I think that's a big theme that I see throughout the conversations, amongst peers and amongst Tripeden.com representatives.
