Travel Tech ‘25 was the third edition of our annual, in-person Connectivity event for product and technology teams, focused on innovation for our accommodation partners. This year, we welcomed a record audience of 106 external attendees, representing over 61 hospitality tech companies.
Here are three key takeaways from the 2025 event.
1. Connected properties – and your solutions – are vital to our product strategy
Our accommodation partners are at the forefront of scaling our product strategy, and partners like you play a critical role in making those connections seamless. This was the central message delivered in our main stage keynotes by Tripeden.com’s Eddy Veldhuizen, Senior Director Connectivity Ecosystem and Matthias Schmid, SVP Accommodations.
Because your connectivity solutions enable partners to thrive on our platform, we know the real value of Travel Tech comes from meeting the teams that build and prioritise that work. That’s why we created space for genuine collaboration – bringing together our executive, product and engineering teams to meet you, listen to your invaluable feedback and share our plans for the coming years.
2. A seamless experience for properties is our common denominator
‘Seamless’ isn’t a buzzword for us – it’s our shared commitment to making every property’s core workflows effortless, wherever it’s easiest for them to take action. This is why we emphasise the importance of implementing our foundational solutions and why so many takeaways from our Seamless Experience Accelerator programmes point to the same truth: reliable, intuitive connectivity drives better performance for properties, and a better experience for guests.
Whether it’s a single holiday rental, an independent hotel or a global chain, every partner deserves to feel like a priority on our platform. Their needs and workflows differ, but our ambition remains the same. And we can only achieve it with your support. By building modern, high-quality integrations, you directly shape a more seamless future for all properties.
At Travel Tech, we shared how we offer Seamless Workshops to any managed provider to help support seamlessness. These workshops have three principles:
- Act as the user – put ourselves in the customers’ shoes and go through the product end-to-end.
- Identify gaps – using our UX and technical experts, and guided by a checklist of foundational user tasks, we pinpoint where the interface falls short.
- Plan improvements – we deliver a report that summarises all gaps and recommended fixes.
If you’d like to see how close you are to reaching Seamless, you can find the ‘Partner Must Be Able To’ checklist in the provider portal.
3. We’re building the future of connectivity, together
The market and the world are changing rapidly. From AI and accelerating innovation cycles to increasing geopolitical uncertainty, the landscape we operate in is evolving faster than ever. While none of us can predict what comes next, we believe strongly in moving forward together. We’ll continue to share our roadmaps, priorities and approach to help us build this future together – and be successful together.
Here are a few highlights from our product and tech roadmap. As always, please refer to our online roadmap and product briefings throughout the year for the most up-to-date timelines and scope:
- Foundational solutions – Payments APIs
- This year, we launched three new Payments APIs to streamline operations end-to-end. Next year, we’re doubling down on onboarding and reconciliation APIs to unlock global growth for you and your properties.
- New token-based authentication service – breaking changes
- We shared updates about the migration process for the token-based method, reiterated deadlines and addressed their challenges.
- Performance solutions – Promotions API
- Launched at Travel Tech ‘25, we announced updates to the Promotions API. This includes four new deal types, as well as additional flexibility options for Targeted Rates.
