Connectivity Notifications Service
Get real-time notifications on business-critical events.
Key benefits of Connectivity Notification Service
- Enable your properties to act quickly based on real-time updates on key events
- Simplify your operations and reduce the need for frequent data pulling, thanks to a push-based notification service
- Adapt your notifications to suit your business needs and meet various operational requirements
The Connectivity Notification Service (CNS) notifies you and your connected properties about events that require attention or action. This flexible solution serves several types of alerts, catering to various operational needs across different scenarios. Notifications are sent to you as JSON messages, which you can then automate follow-up actions on.
The CNS is designed to help you and your properties reduce operational friction and improve efficiency. Simply implement the API, select your preferred notification types and then implement these into your interface or workflow as needed to enhance your and your properties’ operations. Learn more about the CNS in our handbook, and then get started with the API documentation.

Three notification types
- VCC balance updates. This notification type ensures that your connected properties receive the correct VCC balance. Any time a VCC is loaded, we’ll send you a notification with the reservation number and the VCC balance so that you can alert your properties as soon as they’re able to charge the VCC.
- VCC payout. Any time a VCC is loaded with a no-show or late cancellation fee, we’ll send you a notification that includes the reservation number, the chargeable balance on the VCC and the currency. You can then pass this on to your properties, ensuring that they don’t miss out on claiming these fees.
- Payment details. This notification shares key details on financial transactions to enhance operational efficiency. You’ll receive a notification if payout details change, a property changes its payout method, VCC details change or the status of a bank transfer payout changes.
Our goal is to expand the number of use cases supported by this solution to meet your critical informational needs and address other essential operational requirements. Continue reading to learn more about the future plans for the CNS.
How the CNS benefits your properties
- Smoother operations. Real-time alerts on important and actionable events enable your properties to achieve latency-free operations.
- Optimised performance. Receiving critical, time-sensitive information as soon as it becomes available enables your properties to improve operational efficiency and grow their business.
- Improved guest experience. Properties can ensure a seamless experience for their guests with relevant information delivered to them on time.
How the CNS benefits you
- Reduced operational costs. This push-based service reduces the need for periodic data pulling from our platform, and cuts back on the need to write custom logic for key reservation lifecycle events.
- Greater platform stickiness. The CNS enables more functional parity with the Tripeden.com extranet, which means your properties can increasingly perform all necessary actions on your platform alone.
- Customisable service. The modular setup of the CNS allows you to enable only the alert types that are most beneficial for your operations.
