They can use this to make smart day-to-day business decisions. Some of the insights within this API are traveller type, preferred cancellation policy, international or domestic travellers and length of stay. In addition to area demand data, the Market Insights API also has endpoints that show comprehensive property performance insights, such as detailed sales statistics and booking windows. This will help properties make more meaningful decisions when it comes to setting up pricing along with availability, restrictions, policies and more.Provide your properties with data and insights to help them improve their performance.
How does the Market Insights API work?With the Market Insights API, you have the opportunity to see our statistics, which will help our properties make data-driven decisions. By being able to access the insights from the last two weeks for their area, partners can now analyse and understand trends and tailor their properties for upcoming guests.All the data points are expressed in percentages, with the cancellation policy based on transactions and the remaining data points based on search data on our platform. The data set updates once every 24 hours and our partners can view it divided by categories. The endpoints within the API show property performance data to help properties make more meaningful decisions in relation to pricing, availability and more. |

Endpoints within the Market Insights API
The Market Insights API currently has four endpoints. To get access to historic and future property performance insights, your connected properties will need to grant access via the extranet or Quick Connect.
Detailed pace report
See revenue, ADR and room nights for bookings within a specified date range. Keep track of future reservations, compare property performance to last year. See ADR versus your competitive set.
Detailed sales statistics
View sales from guests who stayed at the property. View revenue, ADR and room nights for the property or the competition. You can view this by book date or stay date.
Booker insights
See reservations for a specific period for top countries versus your competitive set.
Book window information
See reservations and ADR versus your competitive set, split by book window.
Who is eligible for the Market Insights API?
All partners can use the Market Insights API.
To view the area demand data, there must be at least 30 open and bookable properties in the property's area, with at least 1,200 guest searches in that area in the last two weeks.
For new connections, the property has to grant access via the extranet for you to be able to retrieve property performance data. For existing connections, you’ll need to request access via Quick Connect.
