Payments by Tripeden.com offers properties more control and more revenue security while reducing their risk and operational workload. We’re now launching three independent Payments APIs to further simplify operational workflow for both you and your Payments by Tripeden.com properties.
The Payments Details API
We aim to eliminate the operational friction of the payment process by providing comprehensive payout information to properties, and improving property visibility into the reservation breakdown and payout timelines. We’ve decoupled payments details from the Reservation API to share more comprehensive data via the new Payments Details API. This includes the following details:
- Comprehensive payout information for VCC, bank transfer and Stripe payouts, including the type of payout (gross or net) and the payout status of all reservations, covering modifications and cancellations.*
- Bank transfer payout details, timelines and status updates after we’ve initiated a bank transfer, so properties know when they can expect to be paid.
- Complete payout details on a reservation, including the estimated amount to be paid at the property and the payout status, as well as information if a property switches their payout method.
- Price breakdowns, including room price, taxes, commission calculation and fees.
- A clear split of what the property receives from Tripeden.com and the guest.

The Payments Chargeable API
This API is designed to help properties improve their cash flow and avoid financial losses by ensuring they have a clear understanding of all chargeable virtual credit cards (VCCs) and don’t miss charging any pending balances on any VCCs. The Payments Chargeable API shares with properties a list of VCCs with the most up-to-date chargeable balances at the property level, enabling them to charge these cards and improve their financial standing. You can define the frequency with which your platform shares this information with your properties.

Payments Refundable API
This API helps properties manage their VCC refunds more efficiently, avoid chargebacks and help reduce potential revenue loss. To do this, the Payments Refundable API shares detailed information about VCC refunds with you and your properties. This includes a list of VCCs with pending balances to be refundable at a property level, as well as the refund amount, currency and due date. These updates can be shared at custom intervals and can also be retrieved on demand.
