From 1 February 2023, we are adopting AWS Cloudfront for network traffic management.
As a result, our IP addresses (which have been static to date) will no longer work as a way to reach Connectivity APIs. Connectivity domain names will instead automatically resolve to various IPs owned by Amazon.
If you are currently applying any IP-whitelisting, this will need to be removed as soon as possible - it is critical to reach us using DNS lookup according to best practices.
You can validate and verify that no unusual DNS setup or static IPs exist in your system, with the following two test domain names which are already working in our new AWS Cloudfront setup:
In addition, you will still need to whitelist your IP addresses on the provider portal if applicable.
To add IP addresses or IP ranges to the whitelist, log into your Provider Portal and click on ‘Administration/Machine Accounts’.
If you click on the machine account you’d like to whitelist IP addresses or IP ranges for, you’ll see a list of properties connected to that account. Above the list, click on the ‘IP Whitelist’ option and add the IP address or IP ranges into the fields below.
Note: If you have multiple machine accounts, you’ll have to add the IP address on the whitelist for every machine account that uses this IP address.
