We want you to get the most out of your partnership with us. That’s why we're collecting these articles that give connectivity partners like you more tips about our tools and features, as well as answers to commonly asked questions.
We’re making three additional Rates & Availability (R&A) features a default part of our APIs, and by the end of 2020 we’ll permanently enable them for everyone. Using these features can help you minimise R&A errors and reduce your properties’ manual workload.
To make it easier for you to identify any potential issues, we’ll be enabling these features one by one on these dates:
Stage 1: Full read of inventory 26 October 2020
Stage 2: Include extra info in RoomRates call 4 December 2020
Stage 3: Detailed exceptions response 14 December 2020
At each stage, we’ll monitor your feedback and assess whether we can still proceed to the next stage as planned. If everything goes well, we’ll permanently enable all three features by the end of December 2020. When we do that, we’ll also remove them from the ‘Feature Management’ page of the Connectivity Partner Portal.
If you’re using the endpoints linked to the features, but you currently have the features disabled, you may be impacted. When we enable these features, the API responses will change:
‘Full read of inventory’ and ‘Include extra info in RoomRates call’: new fields and attributes will be included in the API response body
‘Detailed exceptions response’: The API response could change with the additional information when errors occur.
